Can't Launch - EAAnticheatexecutable.exe is missing

@109HeatQuick confirm, He's right. There is no F124.exe or any EXE file in the main directory of my F1 24 folder. Oh and just so nobody tries to suggest it. Verifying file integrity doesn't help either.

@toxinrayn @Yeah did you notice the requirements were 100gb but it was only 17gb?

I wouldn't take any moderator non response at the moment as them not caring people. I worked on the beta and talked with a lot of these people. They are more than likely busy with Steam and trying to figure out what is going on.

The team is aware of this issue and has pushed out a fix for this. 

Reopening Steam or Verifying Integrity of Game Files should do the trick now.

My play-button in Steam is just GREYED out, even though I have pre-ordered champions edition.


Please fix this, not acceptable EA!

Yeah a 40+ gig update that’s going to take over an hour to update. Why allow us to “preload”

if it’s not going to work. I messaged Steam days ago saying the file that’s been preloaded is only 17gb.. there is no way that’s the full game based on history and the spec page. I would venture to say I wasn’t the only person who sent the message. Why wait till after launch to fix it?!? 

Yoo @hpro99 yeah I feel the same way but hey, at least we got it 70 and a half hours early instead of 72 hours early 🥲

I dont think that is fully true about steam not giving full game.  As I downloaded it on another computer post launch, So i am guessing someone forgot to give steam all of the game files for the pre download

I'm getting the same issue on the EA Play Pro subscription version (PC).
You get as far as the VR popup, screen goes blank and then back to the EA Play App.

EA Anticheat is installed etc.

I preloaded so I'll run a repair and see if that fixes it.

Yeah i got the same issue. uninstalling the game also doesnt working.

Still not working. Got the anti-cheat to download but the game crashes after the splash screen. Extremely disappointed.
