Summarize your bug AI cannot overtake each other and get stuck around 0.4-0.5s behind car in front. This gap is concurrent throughout the lap even in braking zones - the AI cars do not close in on each other. This creates massive trains with over 10+ cars stuck. This creates slower AI pace and a boring experience.
What is your 16 digit Report Code? EGDK-GBJC-XMRP-GJJG
What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. Xbox Series X
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? N/A as playing career mode
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just drive a 50% race and it is clearly visible. Long trains created from Lap 1.
What happens when the bug occurs? AI get stuck behind each other. It looks as if they are all using the ERS in the same way at same time which makes DRS redundant. No AI cars seem to use Overtake when below 30% battery - perhaps this is a cause?
What do you expect to see? AI being able to overtake each other. Faster cars should be able to overtake slower cars and that is not happening. Along with the AI being much slower than anticipated when stuck in these trains as they do not brake and get onto the gearbox of the car ahead - instead stay 0.4 behind. This creates no overtaking. I expect that faster drivers and faster cars to be able to overtake slower drivers and slower cars.
Refer to screenshot attached: Look at the track map in bottom left. Shows Lap 9 at Shanghai where two trains have formed with one from P7 to P20. This is unrealistic, boring and unenjoyable. I am on 108 AI at this race and have had the same issue at every race and sprint race so far on this game - it just makes in so boring and frustrating to play. I understand things take time to find what the direct issue is and then fix it but please do not just put this issue in the junk folder as this is seen in every race recoded and uploaded online so it is occurring in every driver career I have seen.
