Copyright claims on Youtube even with "theme" settings that should prevent this?

I just got copyright claims on my videos from F1 24 even though i have the "theme" music settings that should prevent this and have only non copyrighted music in the game. Yet i am getting copyright ...

Hey @Molda-CZ,

that shouldn't happen, of course, and I haven't seen any further reports from other players about it, but still flagged it to the team for investigation.

Any further info or ideas you might have could be helpful! Does this happen for every YouTube video? Could you provide a link to one them, perhaps?

    @EA_Vendcera Hi and thank you for quick response. So far it happend on two of my videos, but i they are not yet publicly released after upload. One i deleted immediately and the second on is still on youtube but its not possible to share link to it. Here is more information about the copyright claim that it shows to me:

    Content type: Audio
    Impact on video: Not monetizing
    The part of the video that is copyright claimed is the F1 theme song that plays after race when you transition from recieving podium pass rewards and go into the race results screen. But i fear it will start happening even for pre-race cutscene where there is also the F1 theme playing in background.

        @EA_Vendcera So i made a dispute to the copyright claim on youtube, to see if it goes away and is maybe just some mistake, and right now i got response, that my dispute against the claim is refused and that the copyright claim is valid and my video will be blocked and demonetized. So i will have to delete the video, edit all the parts pre race and after race where the F1 theme is playing and remove the audio and upload the videos again. Its a shame because it will sound horrible. The after race result screen edited will not be a big problem, but the pre prace intro cutscene will be a problem, because there are commentators talking about the track and about the race at the same time as the music playing, so i will have videos without the commentators and that will ruin the immersion.

    Hey there @Molda-CZ

    This started for me in early May on F1 23 despite years of no issues in previous versions and naturally continues on F1 24. Now all my livestreams show the same copyright claim of the F1 theme music theme. So this isn’t game version specific it’s just google being more google :-(

    Can an audio option be added to turn off the theme completely? It’s clearly becoming an issue.

      i will never understand why developers put "no copyright streamer/youtuber friendly" music options in games and when you use it, you still get copyright claims and problems. Would it be so difficult for developer to just create their own 2-3 simple melodies and put it everywhere in the game so you truly have copyright free option and not fake one where you will still get harrased with copyright claims?
