Ers deployment issue

I have been playing F1 24 and for some reason I won't let me use ers on any mode be it medium overtake or hotlap tye battery stays at 100% and I haemorrhage positions. It makes it so unplayable any fix for this absolute shambles

Hey folks,

to follow up on my previous message, the team has now included a change coming with the patch tomorrow at 10am UTC, which will disable the ERS faults happening occasionally.

If you are still having issues with the ERS system after the patch tomorrow, please make sure to set your controller or pedal brake deadzone higher and that should resolve the issue. But of course, feel free to let us know if you are still experiencing problems with the ERS. Thank you.

Bro, i really need help on the ERS issue , i have spent around 3k and this game doesnt even want to switch on the ERS.
Please let me know how to fix it.

I have the same problem. No ERS use, no matter which mode is on.
PS5, 50% races, coop career, happens in practise and Race too, wheel-user.
Off topic: This new forum is horrible. I needed so much time to "scroll" down to the newest posts here.

I have over 600 hours and this glitch is still happening! Just happened to me today for first time. Ps5 TM T300rs tlcm pedals. All modes, saves... Unbelievable

EA_Vendcera, just to add to previous comments - I have developed this same (intermittent) ERS deployment fault over the last 2 weeks. Have read all through the forums, have put in a brake dead zone but still not working properly. Trying to log this with EA Support direct as the forums seem to have dried up on this issue - but they are very hard to get hold of!

Can you advise as to whether this issue is just here to stay, has been fixed, or will be fixed? Thanks.

My issue was if I changed to hot lap on my MFD it would act as if the mode would be in medium and deploy 1-2% every corner exit. This resulted in having to use only overtake in qualifying which then my battery would be dead before the end of the lap.
