Ers deployment issue

I have been playing F1 24 and for some reason I won't let me use ers on any mode be it medium overtake or hotlap tye battery stays at 100% and I haemorrhage positions. It makes it so unplayable any fix for this absolute shambles

  • Hey folks,

to follow up on my previous message, the team has now included a change coming with the patch tomorrow at 10am UTC, which will disable the ERS faults happening occasionally.

If you are still having issues with the ERS system after the patch tomorrow, please make sure to set your controller or pedal brake deadzone higher and that should resolve the issue. But of course, feel free to let us know if you are still experiencing problems with the ERS. Thank you.

Same problem here. The ERS/Battery bars are full, nothing happens when I press assigned ERS mode toggle buttons I assigned. Overtake button does nothing, no battery drain or anything to indicate it is working.

    I'm on a Thrustmaster TS-PC Racer wheel.

I also noticed that on Youtubers videos ERS shows in a third option in the MFD when you use the DPAD to set Brake and Differential bias. I don't have ERS in my menu, only Brake Bias and Differential. I did check that auto ERS was turned off in the settings.

  • same issue here. Tried it with pad, wheel, changing the button, changing to hold, it keeps being stuck at 100%, changing modes does nothing and the depletion bar on the left is not filling. Funnily enough if you press start during a multiplayer GP and have the CPU takeover your car, it will be able to use the battery.

  • No it doesn't deplete even when it says active no use so in a race have no power this happens in F1 world and career mode and 2 player career make the game unplayable as have essentially no power doesn't do any thing in any mode of ers either

  • @SergeantSnopper are you able to change the deployment mode from the MFD at all? Also it might be worth checking ers is mapped on your device as well as checking to see if your settings has it on click to use or hold
