F1 24 - Rain in Vegas

Yeah... This is the first huge bug that I found in F1 24.

I just recently went to the Las Vegas GP, and to my totally unexpected surprise, the race has heavy rain for the entire session.

I'm going to use this opportunity to quote a paragraph from an article I recently looked up upon seeing this:

"On average, Las Vegas gets about 5 inches of rain every year. That’s incredibly dry compared to the national average of 38 inches! You can expect around 294 sunny days per year in Las Vegas, leaving only 26 days per year where some form of precipitation may fall – typically rain. Even during those 26 days, precipitation is typically light." - Source: thed.com

Yeah, this certainly needs an immediate fix, and if that's not possible, then I want Bahrain to have the same heavy rain chance as well (100%). As the article states, Las Vegas is a desert city, and rain in the desert is highly unlikely, and even if it rains, it's not heavy rain.

Thank you,

Nico

    Hey @LuckyNico92

Does this happen every time you are racing in Vegas or only in this particular session?

Not sure. This was my first time doing Las Vegas in any mode besides Time Trial, so it either can be just the 1% bad luck that struck me, or it's a bug.

I'll try something else - I'm going to set up 20 GPs in Vegas and I'll tell you how often it rains there.

Okay, so I ran the test, and it seems like the chance of rain in Las Vegas is 10%, which is far too much for a track that's supposedly in the desert, with nothing around it.

If it's a track like Abu Dhabi or Qatar, which indeed do see rain in very rare occasions (I did see rain in Abu Dhabi in a Haas career in F1 22 before), I would understand that, but Las Vegas sees 5 inches of rain per year, and most of it comes from the monsoon season in Summer, and since the race is held in November, there should not be any rain at all.

Yeah, so the weather for Vegas should be set to dry only in Career Mode, maybe clouds here and there, but no rain.
