F1 24 2 player career not working, store checking privileges. mail not loading

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure how to start the bug yourself, happened when I had received 1 mail and was unable to load my mail
What happens when the bug occurs? Bug occurs ever time you launch the game, when trying to enter 2 player career the selection for it is greyed out so you cant access 2 player career at all, whilst i cant access the career mode they can still click on it and access it themselves with no issue Upon clicking store/podium pass the game will say "checking privileges" permanently and never load either of them. its last upto 2 hours before i gave up and closed the game. When trying to load into my mail it permanently load on the mail screen with no mail being able to load at all
What do you expect to see? A fix so that i can play 2 player career with my friend
Started a 2 player career recently with a friend and we've just got to china, we logged off for the night and the next day when i logged in, 2 player career was greyed out unable to click to continue with my friend, but on their end they are able to load into the 2 player lobby still with no issue.
Ontop of this im not sure if its connected but ive permanently got 1 mail in the menu and when i try to open the mail menu the game just keep continuously trying to load the mail and not going any further. when attempting to load the store page it says "checking privileges"
has anyone got a fix at all for this (preferably the 2 play career)?
Ive reinstalled my game, tried verifying my files on steam still nothing at all that fixes this.
