f1 24 Co-Op career qualifying bug

We qualify first and second and then when the game moves on to the race, we get random drivers who start a whole lap ahead of us, they have a fastest lap time of like 332.46.430, so it is not possible to even get the fastest lap. immediately off the line blue flags are waved and if we don't adhere to them we get a penalty. we are literally over a minute behind these drivers who have qualified below us and it is so frustrating and makes the game unplayable. Hopefully, someone can help with this issue. We play crossplay on PS5 and PS4.
