Full-screen "Communicating ..." banner appears while in middle of online race

@CapedOpossum Drives me nuts! I have this issue on a pc hardwired to the router with over 250 MBS of internet speed. I agree that is the page just froze for a moment it would be MUCH better than that damn full screen banner. Sometimes (when not driving) but in any mode, I get the full screen about every 5 seconds. Very frustrating on a game I really want to spend time playing but this makes it unplayable.

Can we PLEASE get that banner removed and just have the note at the top? PLEASE?
