I cant enable certain keybind presets

I made some custom keybind presets for a controller, after a while they unenable and the game switches to an Xbox controller preset. when I go to change it back, the game won't let me enable the custom preset and atop of all this the steering sensitivity has dropped massively, even when I crank it up to 160% it is nowhere near where is was before. Does anyone have a fix for this?

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game which fixed it, but then the issue has popped back up and reinstalling the game is no longer working to solve anything.
