impossible to add friends within the game

Summarize your bug I'm trying to add my friends within Formula 1, but the invitation is never sent because the game says that the player was not found, as we are friends within EA and Steam.

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer
Did you have cross-play enabled? Yes
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know how, but we are added on the Stem and EA platforms and we can't add ourselves in the game to invite to the lobby
What happens when the bug occurs? My friends and I tried to send each other an invitation to play coop mode and neither of us were able to get the invitation to arrive or receive it.
What do you expect to see? I was hoping to be able to add them and play together
