Logitech G923 clutch button not working

Having issue with the clutch button not working on my G923 no matter what button I map it to.

Making manual starts and pulling out from a pit stop impossible

It was working fine, but has stopped for some reason.

When the clutch is mapped to the default gear up paddle its not working yet the gear paddle works for changing gears so the button works.

I have tried resetting everything to default, unplugging the wheel etc, mapping to different buttons, deleting save profile, reinstalling the game, 2 different accounts and updated the firmware. nothing works

Also playing on PS5

Currently for online races I am having to go into AI mode at the start of the race to get off the line and waiting until the AI kicks me out of the pits at a pit stop.
