My logitech g29 causes f1 24 to crash everytime

Summarize your bug When my g29 steering wheel is plugged in i open f1 24, and met with a black screen that immediately crashes and sends me back to the ea home page. If i unplug the steering wheel and play, it is completely fine and runs well.

Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Plugging in a logitech steering wheel and try to play the game
What happens when the bug occurs? the game instantly crashes

F1 23 works without any issues, so i dont see why f1 24 doesnt work
The g29 is on the compatibility list so i dont understand the problem
