My Team bug

Just finished the last race of My Team and went to negotiate for new driver. It locked up. Numerous restarts of the game and it finally signed a driver I didn’t want. Now it’s stuck on time advancement for the past 3 hours. Any help?

    Hey everyone,

    I just wanted to let you know that with the upcoming 1.7 patch on Monday, this issue should now be fixed.

    • Fixed an issue which could cause My Team Career to become stuck after renewing your Teammate's contract

    Please let us know after the patch on Monday how you are getting on.

    What a surprise I stopped playing for this reason 4 months ago, and it's still not fixed. I can't hire driver is a game-breaking stuff unbelievable aren't they ashame at all?

    Hey just curious if EA is still making any effort to fix this or if this is just another 'too bad we already have your money' moment for EA.  I have the same problem now.  Any single player career mode I am incapable of releasing or signing a new driver.  I've been stuck with Jarno for 5 seasons now.  I like the guy and all. . .but I need someone who can score some points every now and then.  Finishing in 2nd in the constructors because I have no points from my 2nd driver in the fastest car on the grid makes for a really ishy gameplay experience.  I imagine its too late and they have already started copy and pasting stuff over to the 25 game.  The way they make these games is vile now.  Everyone on this thread needs to commit to not buying the next iteration or its never going to change.
