Please wait…. F1 24

I can’t play the game anymore. After fp1 my game stays at please wait… won’t go any further, what i have already tried, reinstalling game, repairing game, different base language installation. ev...

I have this issue, and as i saw on steam workshop, others have the issue too.

But, we know at least how we ended up having this bug.

So basically, in career mode, after you played one of the practice session, and went back to the motorhome ( in front of the PC) to select the participation of the next practice session, AFTER YOU CLICKED "GO TO NEXT SESSION" , you are NOT ALLOWED to select the "BACK" option. If you did, you will find youself that you can't select anymore, whether you want to Play or Simulate the next practice session. 

After you restart the game, and select the career mode option, you will find yourself in the car, in the practice session you wanted to join in the first place. After the end, or after you retire from the options, you will have the infinite "Please Wait...." loading screen. And you can't even play career mode after this anymore, because if you quit the game again, the same will happen (you join the the FP you wanted to join, retire/play till the end and so on...)

As I saw from the previous patch notes and the list of issues that are known, and they are currently working on, this bug does NOT appear there. Even though, I hope they will read this, and try to mitigate this issue, because we can't even play the game anymore, only Online. And I did not buy this game to play Online, I bought this game to play the "all new Carrer mode" which, of course is filled with bugs....

I said, that i will create another carrier save, so I will start from scratch again.

However, the issue still exists.

Somehow, this weird bug corrupted my main save file, and even if i create another carreer, after completing the first session, it will keep me on the Please Wait screen.

Very Very disappointed, my luck is that I did not purchase the whole game, only the ea play pro. But this is unacceptable, a company that is this big comes out with a game that has been promoted as a blockbuster, and now the outcome is a piece of crap like this, which is not even completed. And this is only one bug, among all the other bugs, and let's not talk about the other game crashing bugs that have not been discovered yet. The handling...it is what is is, i don't want to go into that now. But these bugs, make the game to become literally UNPLAYABLE. 

I hope this will be fixed, even if the possibility of the developers to know about this issue, is extremely low. My part has been done, I posted about the issue, now let's see the other end of the bargain.

One thing I know for sure, is that this will be the last EA game that I have played with. Wake up, don't be a money obsessed company, that comes out with same game every year, and than pays the entire gaming influencers to promote it as a whole new game. Even if you do, at least make sure that the game is bug free. And you really expect people to pay 60 $, just so after they have bought the game to witness these issues. 

Really disappointed. No words.

    Still waiting for an update EA…

    i have bought the champions edition to play early and since then i can’t play the career!

    c’mon this is just insane!

      Well, i am extremely sorry, but i have to say it: get used to it.

      Very few people have this issue, the chance of ea fixing this is extremely low. They are too occupied with the handling i think. 

      My suggestion is to ask for a refund, and buy the game on the other market (steam or EA) if you are on PC, and desperately want to play carrier mode, because the save file is ruined, the only fix right now is to buy the game on another account (as i said earlier, if you bought the game on ea, then ask a refund and buy it on steam or the other way around)

      I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet.  I refuse to start a new career knowing this will eventually happen again. They're aware I'm sure, I just dont know how game breaking bugs aren't the first to get patched.
