Or do you mean de-installing the EA App also? Rather not do so as I want to avoid also the rest not working anymore. Just F1 24 not working is already bad enough, but having EA Play Pro of course F1 24 is not the only EA game my son plays.

The EA App says funny enough that I played 41 minutes already. Weird as the game did not even start once.

@xahmol my steam is also counting each attempt at launching as "game time" because the executables are initializing after steam has handed over to them before launching. thus every minute of attempted intialization is counting as "game time".

As I was saying before, in this thread we have different issues affecting players, so what it might be helping you it might not work for others. I am writing this post to try to compile the workarounds that some of you have been posting.

I am going to mark this post as a solution to increase visibility. However, that doesn't mean that the issue has been fixed. The team keeps investigating it and trying to find a solution.

@EA_Groguet I have a problem with the force feedback of the Fanatec steering wheel, and it could probably be related to the EA App Launcher.
By any chance is it possible to run a test through Origin to see if that works? (Resuming the solution to Link 1 of your list item 1)
I've been waiting for 10 days for fixes so I can play the game

I tried every sinlge fix from here, nothing works.
It's still happening as of writing this, July 12th.

Failed to obtain Origin directory
The launch of the game was already awful, yet these problems still
crawl back from nowhere.
As for a refund, can't anymore already played 20 hours.
And like everyone else, F1 23 works wonderful
Edit: cherry on top, for some reason multiple games I have on Steam do not appear in the EA App.
2nd Edit: Only after I reinstalled Windows I got the game working.

@Vlahopol78 I have the game pass "play" and I am using the trial version of F1 24.
What resolved it for me was uninstalling the game and putting F1_24.exe, F1_24_Trial.exe, EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe and EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe to Exploit protection.
It was resolved.
I hope they can play too.

It is still happening for a lot of people and not only for this game. I have the exact same issue with WRC (also radio silence and useless online support asking me to do irrelevant things, most likely on their checklist). In my quest to find a solution I saw the same issues are cropping up for F1 23 for Fifa (or whatever it is called now). And refund is out of question, last time I asked an online operator he told me "you bought the game almost a year ago, there will be no further support".
