Re: F1 24 DOESN'T RECOGNIZE THRUSTMASTER WHEEL

@JanKondler It's a new game issue with F1 24 (and wasn't exist in F1 23).

For now (while waiting an update) the only solution to avoid this issue is to plug only the USB of the wheel base to the PC = pedal set must be plugged directly to the wheel base (with the RJ12 cable), and other USB gaming devices (USB Handbrake, USB Shifter, USB Gamepad Controller, ...) must be unplug from the PC.

Y, but it's so annoying. RJ cable is lottery if it works. Hopefully fix soon. I've tried to fix it with something in actionmaps but nothing.

Is the base and wheel showing in your Windows Control Panel and under Game Controller Settings?

    Yes of course.

    This issue:

    * Was already reported during the beta tests and only happens if one Thrustmaster wheel base and one T-LCM pedal set are plugged simultaneously on the PC. When you launch F1 24 on this configuration there is a conflict with the PRESET of the wheel base and the PRESET of the pedal set (and so none of them are working).

    * Disappears if only the wheel base is plugged to the USB of the PC (and the pedal set connected directly to the wheel base and not on the PC).

    * Is only in F1 24 (and not in previous F1 games or other racing games).

Just checking, because I just tried TX + TF1000 + LCM Pedals. Pedals via USB, then RJ, and both setups worked fine.

Trying to discover what is the difference in your setup.

    Thanks for these tests.

Sometimes you need to try 2 or 3 times to reproduce this major issue (and each times don't forget to quit completely the game and to unplug/plug again the usb of the 2 devices).

This issue hapens in EA/ORIGIN App but also on STEAM [Consumer Build ID 14405711].

It s what I have done immediately, as this bug was there already in f1 23 so I had expected such. This time it doesn't work anyway. Weird is that I tried the beta one week ago and everything was fine.

    Hey there,

Our game team has requested some info. Could I get you to fill this out, please?

    • What firmware are you on?
    • What revision of Thrustmaster drivers?
    • What pedals are you using?
    • What type of connection do your pedals use?
    • Are there other USB devices connected?

Thank you very much for your collaboration!

    - Firmware: 34

    - Drivers: 1.TTRS.2024

    - Pedals: Thrustmaster T-LCM

    - Wheel: T300 RS

    - Both pedals and wheel via USB - not working (only 1 of them at the time)

T-LCM to T300 via rj cable - working (but it's not that great, I prefer double usb)

    - other USBs: mouse, keyboard, microphone,  headphones (tried to unplug them but still double usb doesn't work)

In previous titles it worked fine with double usb connection

@Arnaud38101This major issue happens if you connect simultaneously, and in addition of your Thrustmaster wheel base, a T-LCM pedal set in USB (= T-LCM connected directly to the PC and not to the wheel base). In this case, very very often, toth devices are not recognized in the game. This issue disappears if only the wheel base is plugged to the USB of the PC (= T-LCM pedal set connected directly to the wheel base with the RJ12 cable and not to the PC).

I have a Thrustmaster T300 RS, stock pedals.  And still the game doesn't recognise the wheel. (Firmware v34)

    @EA_Groguet

I have a Thrustmaster TX base together with a SF-1000 wheel and T-LCM pedal

    - Firmware: 58.06
    - Drivers: 1.TTRS.2024
    - Pedals: Thrustmaster T-LCM
    - Wheel: SF-1000

Pedals are connected to the base, no other controllers are plugged to the PC.

    It worked on beta.
