Re: Wet race starts - Dry tyres only

So community manager, are the team going to look into the laughable mistake of not being able to select wet tyres for wet tracks in f2. Laughable this is even a problem on release and just shows the depth of testing you guys go to

This is happening in all modes, I had the same exact issue in Ranked F1. Qualifying was dry, then goes to Race and no option to set tyres again so locked in Dry-soft. Then during the race I almost fire my whole eng crew since I got really frustrated when they showed me no option to set intermediates. To top it off, I am sliding on the track and eng has the audacity to tell me they don't have enought data to determine if dry or wet tires are going to be any different. I felt like Lando last year asking for Wets and radio kept saying no back

Inters or wets are not available in one shot quali or when choosing your race strategy before a race. when the track is wet. As far as I can tell this happens in any type of race, if its online/career/F1world.

I have done 2 races in driver career (F2) where I pit at the end of lap 1 for wets from dry tyres as the track is wet from the start but was unable to select a wet compound. Also the AI strangely pitted midway through the race for more dry tyres not wets when doing their mandatory stop. (I did a 35% feature race).

Another huge issue I spotted today was that both Inters and wets have the same lap delta regardless of Track condition! It's easily spotted when choosing tyres in the garage for qualifying.

BTW I think the handling is really good 👍 

I have played 400+ hours on each game since 2015.

My recent wet weather experience in Career mode. First off, it was raining during qualifying at Saudi GP….really?  Then every AI driver goes out on dry reds and do great laps. I go out on reds and just try to stay off the walls.  And when I switch to wets the AI are still crushing me on the reds, apparently they are on a dry track and I’m on a wet one? Bizarre.

What happens when the bug occurs? Before starting a race in rainy weather, there are no established rainy weather tyres in the race strategy. In previous games, this worked without problems.
What do you expect to see? By default, Intermediate or Wet tyres should be set in rainy weather, Also in race strategy they should be available for selection.

Please solve the rainy weather tire availability problem. I lose interest in the game when I have to drift on slicks in the rain.

same for me happened yesterday while i was streaming 3 times total ive gone to start a practice programme while it is ''heavy raining wet or intermediate tyres recommended'' but no wet tyres available for selection i found the only way to get it to finally trigger was to literally waste a good few mins 3-5 on track struggling around and ten jump ack to garage and boom they are suddenly available but only after ive seen an ai fly past me with them never before

This issue is still on-going, just happened in my co-op session. Also to note that AI drives on wet conditions with dry tyres with no issues while the players car goes all over the place.
