Rear View on Flashback in VR

Summarize your bug When I press for flashback the view is pointing rearward looking at the rear wing and beyond. The various camera view options are far chase rear, chase rear, far chase forward and chase forward. None are cockpit view, which is what I need, and what I had in f1 23. No idea how to fix this.
What is your 16 digit Report Code? BHRM-MDEE-XDKJ-HSPD
What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. HP Reverb G2, Fanatec CSW v2.5 and pedals v.3, Fanatec F1 wheel for PC and Xbox, Fanatec Podium Advanced Paddle Shifters with Clutch on paddles.
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? T-mobile
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know...I'm guessing others are not having this issue?? Worked fine in f1 23 and 22.
What happens when the bug occurs? enable flashback...looking backwards...play with camera views...get to the far chase view...rewind so I can reset and continue game which then returns to the cockpit view. Or...I crash because I've been in flashback looking backwards. Interestingly if I pull in the clutch paddles the view shifts from rearward to side view.
What do you expect to see? hit flashback, view from cockpit rewinded a few seconds....the normal thing.

    this problem is persisting. I should clarify that in f1 23 the flashback view is above the car looking forward, not cockpit view. But currently it's still rearward facing and I've no idea why or how to fix.

    Is anyone else experiencing this issue? During any session in any part of the game hitting flashback and the automatic view shown is rear facing. I am in VR so not sure if this is a bug limited to that, or perhaps my headset (reverb g2) or perhaps I’m just the only one with this issue.

    unfortunately this still is occurring. Whenever instant replay (Flashback) is used in Career or Grand Prix modes (in VR), the view is rearwards, rendering the function unusable. After the recent patch/update, it seems worse. Now, in addition to rearwards view, the button that used to return to driving no longer works.

    I get this too but in normal view mode i.e. not VR. I've recently switched over to PC and this occurs every time I try to use flashback, to the point that I no longer play the game on PC and have gone back to PS. I also get a weird view when in the pits or on the grid where it looks like I've pressed the look left key. I've checked all the key bindings,  recalibrated the wheel and pedals etc to no avail.
