VR Error

Product: F1 24
Platform:PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
Summarize your bug Error, upon starting and before menu in game. Says, "VR functionality is unavailable in Steam link client."
What is your 16 digit Report Code? I don't know. Do you?
What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. Wheel. Unapplicable.
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? No.
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start in VR.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't go further.
What do you expect to see? The game I paid for.

    Game loads, VR (Steam Link).  Then an error,

    "VR access to this functionality is unavailable while running through Steam client."

    Any ideas what is going on?

    Not sure this will help but game works in VR for me. You didn’t mention the headset you are using…which one is it? What GPU do you have? Did you try updating your graphics driver? I did that before downloading the game. And of course make sure Steam is updated too, and check your headset for any updates. Hope this works. While there are a bunch of other bugs that drive me nuts I will say that the game, once you get it up and running, looks very good in VR.

    Hey @Alan_Bernardo,

    please make sure that SteamVR is installed on your PC and while the game will launch SteamVR, it’s recommended to launch SteamVR before running the game. Launching it before the game will let you make sure that the headset is shown as detected.

    Otherwise, like mtbross2 mentioned, some additional info would be helpful and make sure your drivers are all up to date.
