Wets to Slicks

Why is it with this game that when a race starts out on wets, then goes to a dry race and you pit early select slicks and the pit crew refit inters and you then have to keep going until pit stop window and even then they refit inters and NOT slicks, if you are that moronically mind numbingly stupid in the pathetic programming of a game then DO NOT MAKE IT.
