With the 26 DLC coming along with cars, teams and drivers could old tracks be part of the DLC so changes can be made to the calendar after the frist season.
Be nice to see old tracks like portimao, paul ricard etc as well as sochi but can understand why that wouldn't be added
I also wish EA and Codemasters would put more circuits in the F1 games, but my understanding is that the real-world F1 is pretty strict about what circuits are in each game. The real-world F1 is going to start doing more rotations with the schedule, so it's likely there will be more circuits in future games.
For example, Spa-Francorchamps and Barcelona-Catalunya are going to start sharing a spot. Spa-Francorchamps in 2027, 2029, 2031, etc and Barcelona-Catalunya in 2028, 2030, 2032, etc. Spa is my favorite circuit, so I really hope it stays in the game every year.
There are licensing matters that restrict which tracks can and cannot be in the game. The only new circuit that will be added as part of the DLC would be Madrid
