Great feedback!
Ranked mode should have 25-50-100% options and reward drivers for competitive racing skills. A 5 lap race is not competitive, it’s a crash-fest mad dash to the flag and hope you don’t get wiped out by a few kids that don’t know how to brake. All skill and race craft goes out the window. Setups and strategy mean nothing. If you get damage, it’s race over, because you’re not going to recover 20-30 seconds in 3-4 laps, especially when you get stuck at the back with the crash-kids.
I don’t play public lobbies for that very reason. 5 lappers should be for a casual/unranked mode.
I used to browse for 25-50% lobbies on older games but they switched up the menu search for F1 2015 and it’s never been as user friendly or useful for finding a race you want.
This hopper style system just encourages frustration getting thrown into a random lobby of 3 drivers who hop in and out every 5 seconds and you never get a race started.
Why am I restricted to using just 3 tracks as well? Why can’t we race on all available tracks?
I get the idea of progressing through divisions as well, but according to my game menu right now, there are 6,613 players in the Bronze division, and so I’m only getting put into races with 2 other players. I imagine the pool of drivers decreases as you progress up the pyramid of divisions.
This needs a rethink!
Thanks for the reply, do you have any idea how we can get this opinion noticed. I was moaning about it last year and seemed so was others but devs seemed to never see or respond to the point at all. Hopefully we can make some noise about this and get it changed.
I acually quite like the divisions, but I don't think there working properly purly because of the lack of people regularly taking part in ranked, I recon most people do what I do, play one ranked race to see if its changed yet.
