A few issues with AI

I want to start off and say that I do think the AI is better in this game than in the last. But there still are some glaring issues that can be very frustrating at times when racing against the AI. First in their straight-line speed. They're so quick on the straights that it effectively negates any advantage from a slipstream. I think this is down to the AI's battery usage, which seems to be off the charts this year. It also doesn't help that the AI uses traction control and almost never makes mistakes that you can capitalize on. Another issue is the AI in the wet. Again, way too quick. And before anyone says anything about a skill issue, there is a difference between me being slow and the AI being unrealistically fast. I admit, I'm not the fastest driver in the wet, but I've always been able to at least keep up with the cars ahead. Now in F1 25, I'm about 5 seconds a lap slower than them, which is insane. I race on 101 AI and feel that is where I feel the game is challenging, but mostly fair. It is just a few kinks here and there that, if fixed, will make the game much more enjoyable.

Thank goodness I am not alone in this. I have an issue with the AI on wet races and qualifying.

It's as if they have infinite ERS charge, glue stuck on Overtake mode and infinite grip on wet. I am not the fastest driver either, but I can tell when things are completely out of my favor. I want a good challenge, but not when opponents have an overwhelming amount of advantage against us as players.
