We could do with an explanation but I assume it is because it is a keyboard emulator (text entry or multiple keypresses). I don't see why it is being flagged now when it's been fine before so it seems like a retrospective / rearguard action.

New patch has made no difference, unfortunately. EA_Groguet​ Any ideas on a solution? 🤞

The obvious workaround is to exit the program before launch. Shortcut to your .ahk file on the desktop to restart?

This is where I'm a bit confused; I don't seem to have any programs called AutoHotKey installed.

Install from here https://www.autohotkey.com/

Use Revo Uninstaller to remove https://www.revouninstaller.com/products/revo-uninstaller-free/ 

Then try restarting your machine and see if the splash is still present. This is definitely AutoHotKey, I know I use it. It would seem you might have a false positive. But I have only ever installed it in the singular admin user. It could also mean someone has weaponised it and is using it as a potential exploit. I am buying popcorn as I type.

Solution for my issue was to uninstall the EA App and Reinstall it. Didn't touch steam or the game itself just EA App despite owning the game on steam and launching through steam. Hope it helps for anyone facing same issue.

Hello everyone, I had the exact same problem as all of you until just now. I had the problem with FC 25 and with a Battlefield game. I tried everything until just now. The last thing I tried was to disable/uninstall Rainmeter. If you use or have installed Rainmeter, try disabling or uninstalling it. It worked for me.

I closed the codec pack on my PC and it launched every time no problem. 

I had the same problem in F1 25. I found out that a program that made my windows transparent was the sinner. I just need to close it before launching the game

guess what? It worked for me as well. disabling the codec in my hidden icons on the taskbar worked for me.
