Commercial licenses for events?
Dear EA Team,
I am reaching out on behalf of Intracon GmbH, a Germany-based event agency. We are currently organizing partner events for our client Hewlett-Packard, who is a sponsor of the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team. As part of these events, HP would like to feature sim racing stations to enhance the attendee experience.
To that end, we are very interested in integrating EA Sports F1 2024, and later F1 2025, into our racing setups.
Although the use of our racing stations will be free of charge for all participants and intended purely for entertainment, we assume a commercial license might still be required. Could you please advise whether a commercial license is necessary in this case, and if so, how we can obtain one and whom we should contact?
Alternatively, is the standard license sufficient given there is no direct commercial benefit associated with the gameplay?
Thank you in advance for your support – we’re looking forward to your guidance.
Best regards,
Georg Bons

Hey there,
Our forums are not the place to find commercial collaboration or approval for license use. However, you can check the article below for more information:
Requesting permission for special uses
- Rights clearance inquiries. If you represent an entity that wishes to use our games in books, films, TV series, or other productions, or you are an EA business partner and want to use our games at industry events or for product demos, please fill out this form in English. Do not use this form for other inquiries. We will only respond if we are interested in pursuing the opportunity. Don’t interpret our lack of response as an approval.
- Vendor and former employee requests. If you have an existing contract with EA to perform services for us (for example, external artists, marketing agencies, translation vendors) or are a former EA employee who wants to use our game content in your personal website or portfolio, please fill out this form in English.
