F1® 25 - Patch 1.07 Discussion Thread

I know AI in the wet has been a big discussion. After 2 months in F1 world, I think I have my tech level nailed at 130 in dry races. I've just done the Wet Weather series, and on Inters I passed the objective on the 2 tracks at 130. But to get the objective of 10th on full wets at Imola, after 3 failures on 130 I had to knock it down to 110 to pass.

ERS usage by the AI is completely unbalanced in F1 25

Hi,I’m playing My Team in F1 25 and I’ve noticed a major issue with how the AI uses ERS. The AI only activates ERS in the straights (which makes sense), but the problem is that it seems to dump the entire battery all at once without any penalty, and then somehow recharges it quickly without struggle.

Meanwhile , as a low-tier team at the start of the career, I have to manage my ERS super carefully — it drains fast and recharges painfully slow.

This forces me to use ERS every single straight just to defend, otherwise I get passed easily. I can’t save it to attack or deploy it tactically, which makes the whole system frustrating, unrealistic, and completely one-sided.

i really like the more realistic direction this year with dirty air and handling, but the way the AI handles ERS kind of ruins the balance and immersion.

Please consider reworking this or at least giving us a gameplay option to make the AI use ERS more fairly.

Since release, the mid-session save function has not been working on PS5, you marked a thread as investigating but it’s been ages and no updates, not even a mention of it on the known issues page…. 

Can we at least get an acknowledgment of this on the known issues page? Right now it just seems like it’s being sweeped under the rug. 

Great work with this Patch and past Patch until now. Like i said for the weather and tires and Ai top fast with dry/wet in the middle condition, but fisic IA grip meccanic. Great job. Drive veri clean and precise! Thank you. Something tò fix yes, but in general this game Is improved a lot. I make a lot of Carrer and i can feel in sensibility some difference fixed and improved.

Hi.. PC use here... i9-13900k / rtx 5080 / 32gb ram

Yesterday my game begins to lag right after 1st lap... Im running 50% races on grand prix, for practice for private championships. I tried update the gpu driver, but it doesnt help, even getting back to older drivers.

It only happens on race, right after lap 1... the game beggin to lose fps and get lagged, causing me a lot of rythm and pace... Tried down graphics, resolution, but the problem persists.

Gpu and cpu temps and usage all far from the limit.

Is it a game or driver update?

Anyone has a clue for what to do??

Just played in VR for the first time since 1.07 was released. Back to being a stutter fest.

V1.06 was almost perfect for me can you review what changes were made and either roll back or fix?

Running a Quest 3 via link cable, 5070TI, 64GB RAM. 

Solution? Come back to F1 24 

"ingeneer" Say Piastri or McLaren driver Is in the Pit, but It isnt. He Say wrong information about driver. He told me "McLaren driver Is in the Pit" when Tsunoda It was. Fix It please in the next Patch, i saw that this Is under investigation.
