General Issues
Ok, so the handling is great, but a superclip button is essential. Harvesting is far too tedious and makes sector times far too erratic (sometimes AI will be split by 0.2 yet the faster one will be slower through 2 sectors by 2/3 tenths, then go 5-6 tenths faster in 1 sector). An option to press a Superclipping button to harvest at the end of straights would solve this.
As well as this, the field spread needs to be way larger than it is, its far too narrow. My top 10 were separated by 0.6 in Melbourne... This is also made worse by a coinciding issue, with the fact that car performance has been terribly managed on this years cars.
Teams like Williams and Aston Martin are far too competitive, and its just as much down to field spread and car performance, as it is the terrible dricer ratings. How on earth is Alonso higher than 88/87 and Albon higher than 81? Lawson and Lindblad need to bd 84 and 79 respectively, bcs they keep getting knocked out in Q1. Antonelli also needs to be 88/89 too, both Cadillac drivers need to be nerfed (Checo 81, Bottas 77).
All in all, its very fun, but superclipping needs to be a button thats added to improve the overall lap management. Also, fieldspread needs to be widened, cars like McLaren, Cadillac, Red Bull, and ESPECIALLY Aston Martin and Williams need to be nerfed beyond belief. Aston Martin are regularly in the points when they should be backmarkers by over a second a lap, and Williams are fighting for podiums and wins when they should barely be scoring points or getting out of Q1/into Q3. McLaren are also too competitive, and Mercedes need a MASSIVE buff, they barely ever win. Driver ratings should also be changed after Round 6 (Monaco, this weekend) as we are 4 months into the season and they are still based off last years ratings, theres no good reason for that to be the case.
Really hope any EA Developers have taken the time to read these complaints, bcs they are ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to making the great handling model development and overall DLC playable, these issues are simply just too distracting, I really dont know how theyve not been noticed before launch... Anyways, hopefully these are things that are already solved/in work and will be added via and update within the next 1-2 weeks!
