are you in a single race or custom. and also what track are you selecting. remember the weather on tracks may be determined by what the date is during the season and may need some fine tuning to change weather for that track specifically.

I like wet and variable weather when it is done right, but I am finding this game is as bad a F124 was for AI completely ignoring wet weather. They accelerate out of corners like it’s dry while I’m spinning the tires even with traction control turned back on.

Hey there,
That is not possible for F1® 25. However, you should be able to set the weather forecast to be accurate, so you'll know exactly what weather you will be getting.

So perfect accuracy means noting n 50% distance so far. This last race it was supposed to rain somewhere in the last few laps. It started raining on lap 5.
Can this functionality be added via a patch or is that technically not feasible for some reason?

so if the option to disable weather can’t be added to F1 25 is there at least an idea of how to fix the wet/dry imbalance?
I think the problem is the player car.
Also, we once had the ability to change AI when restarting a session, can that be added back?

They have to come up with some sort of solution because at this rate the game is completely broken. How can we have career mode whereby the AI are 3 seconds a lap faster in the wet?
I'm personally extremely disappointed in both Codemasters and EA for releasing the game in this state. This is absolutely basic stuff that should have been identified and resolved prior to release.
I've been highly praising them both for F125 as it was a scismic improvement over 24. However the wet races are a gargantuan issue that completely destroys any realistic immersion for all players.
I hope they are working on a fix, because at the moment it's quite simply not worth playing!

Not ideal but if they cannot let us turn wet races off, could they:
Reduce the number of or eliminate wet sessions
Allow us to sim qualifying without simulating the race
Allow us to change difficulty mid session or when you restart a session
I am more and more convinced the main problem is the handling of the player car coupled with immaculate traction in the AI car. Since 24 was decent, can’t they revert to that model for our car?
This plus pit stop hold truly makes the game a waste of money.

Personally if they reverted back to the 24 car I'd never play the game again. For me the handling on a pad was utterly atrocious to which I completely abandoned the game early on along with many others.
They simply have to increase the traction on the players car in the wet and for those using automatic gearbox in the wet resolve the short shifting all the time. How on earth it's happened that way I'm speechless. The players car with the automatic gearbox never reaches peak power down the straights in the wet, it's always short shifting, what a monumental oversight that is.
EA and Codemasters if you read this why wasn't this tested by your teams? Did absolutely no one at all do any wet race testing on a pad or a wheel prior to release?

does nobody get the tyres! inter/wet is what you should be using. would be a better suggestion to run wet races in single player mode to actually get better. it would help your overall perspective of the game and remove all the issues you may be having. its about learning in a new way to improve your chances. what difficulty level do you play on?

I het tyres, differential, brake balance, and assuming I know the weather, which so far perfect accuracy has meant nothing, I know wet weather setups that compromise dry qualifying.
With full TC and full brake assist the car is simply not competitive in the full wet compared to dry. Medium wet it is possible once tyres warm up and a bit of a dry line appears. In comparison the AI cars act as if it is fully dry.
Last race Verstappen and Norris never changed off mediums and were as fast as the Ferraris sporting full wets while I went from even oace to 2 seconds slower.
So sorry but tyres aren’t the answer.
