Let's hope we get a decent game in 2027. Because this one won't be fixed. The only way out is to go back to F1 24.

I fully believe this is what we have to be honest. I think we are too far in now for them to develop any further wet weather patches.
Ultimately the game was released in such a poor and unprofessional condition with zero wet weather testing internally. I mean surely if it was indeed tested they would have realised it was beyond diabolical.
The patch to try and resolve it has made an extremely small difference, but the AI are still way too overpowered in wet conditions in comparison to the players car.
Like I've mentioned many times, the disparity in performance between the players car and the AI in the wet is a result of the insufficient grip and rear traction of the players car rather than the AI being too fast. The players car in the wet is just way too slow!
For F126 DLC I sincerely hope they at least improve what's been nothing short of a massive oversight and disappointment regarding the wet weather.
It would be absolutely unacceptable to have to endure the same debacle again for 2026.
In addition they MUST also fix the controller excessive tyre wear too.

Let's hope they do indeed make a massive improvement for 2027. For me personally 2024 was by far the worst game they've ever made. Worst handling and worst AI.
I do enjoy F125 way more than F124, which I actually abandoned and completely gave up on when they totally destroyed the handling on the pad.

I don't think the wet weather handling is that bad. It's supposed to be low grip and tricky to drive. It's extremely hard to drive for REAL F1 drivers. Most players complaining are still trying to use 100% brake pressure in the rain, don't make setup adjustments for the wet track and are not modulating their brake pedals/triggers accordingly. Real drivers are treating the throttle like there's an egg under the pedal in the wet and not getting on full power until they're up the gears comfortably. They use engine braking and downshifts to prevent brake lockups. Minimal steering angles to not unsettle the car. I've seen so many YouTube videos of people moaning about the wet handling trying to drive like its a dry track!
One thing that isn't helping the situation is the ridiculous decision to remove Wet Time Trial! Why? Where is the logic in this? No wonder players can't manage wet weather. They have nowhere to practice or build a wet setup! Don't even start typing that it's because fewer players used Wet Time Trial, because we currently have the 24 and 25 F2 car Time Trials accessible in-game, and I'd bet that even fewer are still using the 24 cars for that!
