Logitech pro wheel issue on F1 25

Its been awhile since I last played and was about to start a new career mode, booted the game up with my regular wheel settings that have worked perfectly fine with no issue since the release of the game only to find that my settings were terrible. There's a weird dead zone in the middle of the wheel anytime you are just driving, the wheel is bouncing left and right aggressively. I have tried everything, lowering my settings in my logitech wheel, lowering the in game settings, no matter what I do its not fixing the issue and making it more and more unbearable. Please can we resolve this and go back pre-patcg because there was nothing wrong with the steering for the logitech pro wheels. It all felt smooth. Heck, even on f1 23 my steering settings are much smooth and more responsive then whatever this patch has now done to the game. Please fix this ASAP.

Edit: Additional, just went back into the game, you can't even weave in and out like in real life F1 to warm tyres, the game just freaks out and the wheel just defaults to its dead zone to sending the car dramatically in one direction or just doing a full 360 or a drift. Please change this back so we can actually play the game on our sim setups please.

Yep, this issue was posted in the Tech Thread and is being "Investigated".

  • Same with my Logitech True Force Pro wheel - after last download on October 14, 2025, my wheel has a huge dead zone in middle, no way to correct in settings. Very annoying consider the amount of money I spent on this wheel and this franchise only to be completely unusable. Works fine on F120 and F124 but that isn't what I have been playing for the entire existence of F125....Very disappointed in the franchise, why would I even consider buying the next version if this is what could happen from an update?? This should have been fixed by now....

  • I bought the RS50 when it came out.  Worked great for 3 weeks.  I left for holidays and came back to find my wheel was unusable.  The wheel is snapping hard left and right very frequently.   It's completely undriveable.  I went back to my t598 for now.  Hopefully they get this resolved soon.  I dropped  a lot of money on the full logitech setup and can't use it all now.

  • Exactly the same issue with me. Thought I was going insane. The wheel basically is undriveable. Feels more like a Logitech G29 rather than their top of the range direct drive wheel! It’s gone crazy clunky and on the straights it’s trying to kill me. Absolutely gutted as it’s completely killed my pace on the game and needs updating immediately as this is not on.

  • I also didn’t know if it was my hardware or the software so I even purchased a Logitech RS50 wheel to use and see if this worked and this was also having the same issues. It appears they’ve just completely messed up the Logitech direct drive wheels after the latest F1 25 update! Not just the G Pro wheel!!

  • Simple solution just put the Logitech g pro settings back to what they were on the previous F1 25 update. Before the mid October patch which has killed it. I race in multiple leagues and I now can’t really race in them as its killed my pace and I’m racing against very fast drivers week in week out.

How long do we think it’s going to take for them to actually act on this?…

Additionally, ...this cut & pasted comment just in from EA in the Tech Forum:

"We've identified the issue, and a fix will be included in the next patch. This was a retail-only problem, meaning it couldn't be reproduced in our test or development environments. As a result, it took longer to diagnose and debug.

Your messages were incredibly helpful in allowing us to understand the issue. Thank you again for your support.

As it requires more thorough testing, we're holding off until the next patch to ensure everything is stable and not rushed.

    We really appreciate your patience!"

  • this is still happening to me. I made a bug report or something as this is the first time this has ever happened to me and im a bit newer to this type of software. It's been about a month and still nothing. Idk if you are still having issues but I just wanted to add to it so maybe someone can see this is still an issue.
