Re-release APX GP team
Dear, beloved EA! From the bottom of my heart, I ask you to bring back the APX GP team. A huge number of people who watched the film and weren't involved with the franchise until then fell in love with the sport, and I'm one of them. I, like many others, didn't know about the limited availability of APX GP until July 11th, but I still bought the Iconic Edition of F1 25 because it's amazing! But I beg you, I implore you! Hear us, your fans, and give this team a chance to everyone who missed out on it. We will support you and reward you with gold if you release this DLC with the team! Give the fans this opportunity, I beg you!286Views2likes35CommentsEssential MUST-HAVE Fixes for F1 26 DLC
Hey! As a very experienced F1 gamer and long time fan of the EA F1 series, I feel almost obligated to point out and suggest a few things that EA simply cannot ignore for a successful F1 26 DLC. Feel free to add any other ideas you have in the comment section. 1 LITTLE DETAILS MATTER (THE ALPINE LOGO IN 2025 IS BLUE AND NOT WHITE!) One thing I reported even before the release of F1 25 was that Alpine changed the colour of their team logo from 2024 (white) to 2025 (blue). I reported it multiple times, even DM´d moderators about it. For Williams, you managed to fix the colour change from blue to white (thanks to my report). It´s hard to believe that you have a whole year to develop a new game, yet can´t manage to update the colour of a simple logo. These are small details that are not difficult to fix, but are extremely annoying when they´re wrong. So please take your time to get the basics right before moving on to the bigger things. 2 FULL LEADERBOARD SHOWING ALL DRIVERS/BETTER UI Also not particularly difficult, but it would do thousands of players a huge favor. More realism, more options and players wouldn´t have to rely on hobby modders paying monthly fees to do the work you should be doing. A simple Win-Win situation. 3 DRIVER/TEAM EDITOR If any of the developers or operators at EA F1 are reading this thread, could you please explain why this isn´t a feature yet? We already have it in EA FC and other EA sports games, but not in F1! We literally had to wait six months just to swap Doohan with Colapinto. Adding this feature would bring so much more variety to F1, allowing players to freely transfer drivers before and during a career as they wish. Right now, the AI´s driver changes are predictable and boring in 8 out of 10 cases, which really limits the experience. 4 MOST IMPORTANT: IMPROVE THE AI If there is one single thing you are allowed to change, it has to be this. Have you ever asked yourselves why almost all F1 content creators only produce career mode videos for the first two or three months after a new F1 game releases? Because it becomes boring. Because nothing truly changes. And I am not talking about live content or a lack of game modes. The game becomes boring because races are predictable. The AI drives fixed lines, every driver behaves the same and there are almost no mistakes under pressure - or mistakes at all. I have played every F1 game since F1 2017 and I have virtually never seen a real AI crash where two or more cars fly off the track. Maybe once in over 5,000 races there was a minor AI collision at the start. That is not realistic! In real Formula 1, incidents at the start happen in at least every third race. A DLC should focus entirely on improving AI behaviour instead of adding new modes no one asked for. Features like driver personalities, more realistic defending, occasional errors and AI crashes are urgently needed to create unpredictable, engaging races. This would allow players to stay invested for months instead of losing interest after a few weeks, while also laying a crucial foundation for F1 27 and generating real excitement for the new era of the F1 games. 5 EXTRAS As I already said, the AI has to be the main thing for the F1 26 DLC in my eyes so I don´t expect any other things. But here you have some ideas for the F1 27 game that honestly should have been in the game for a long time already: -> Custom Race Calendar -> Better AI for Monaco (I play against 105 AI every track but at Monaco I can easily win against 110) -> Historical Race Tracks (Hockenheim, Portimao, Turkiye and DO NOT DELETE IMOLA!) -> More drivers for career mode (Vettel, Magnussen, Latifi...)48Views2likes0CommentsPlease make the original F1 Movie car usable outside F1 Movie Mode
Hello Codemasters team, first of all, I really appreciate the inclusion of the F1 Movie content in EA F1 25. The car itself looks fantastic, and it’s clear a lot of effort went into recreating it authentically. However, I’d like to raise a request that I believe many players would strongly support. The original F1 Movie car is currently only usable in the dedicated F1 Movie mode. I own the highest edition of the game, which includes this content, but outside of that mode, in Career or other standard game modes, the only option available is the stock car with the APAX GP livery. Would it be possible to also make the actual F1 Movie car selectable and playable in the main game modes such as Career Mode, Grand Prix, or Custom Championships? From a player perspective, the asset is already fully implemented in the game. Allowing access to it beyond the Movie mode would greatly increase its value and replayability, especially for those who purchased the premium edition specifically for this content. I truly believe this would be a very welcome addition and a great quality-of-life improvement for dedicated players. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for your continued work on the series. Best regards, David28Views3likes0CommentsDeadzone and Inconsistent Trigger Response on PS5 Controller
English 🇬🇧 🇺🇸: I am currently experiencing serious issues with the trigger sensitivity and deadzone on the standard PS5 controller. This controller has a default deadzone that cannot be adjusted through the PS5 system, and additionally, the deadzone values provided by the game are insufficient to properly correct this issue, which directly affects fine brake and throttle control. In my case, when I apply a low amount of pressure on the trigger (for example, a real 5–10% input), it is not reflected in the game, making it impossible to brake or accelerate in a natural and progressive way. For this reason, I would like to request that users who use the standard PS5 controller, or more generally all PS5 users (and even users on other consoles) who experience this same issue, have access to an additional option to further reduce the trigger deadzone or initial sensitivity. This option could be specific to the controller type or applied globally. Ideally, there should be an option to reduce the deadzone below the current limit (for example: -5, -10, -20, -30, up to -50 or even -100), so that the real trigger input is properly reflected from the very beginning of the trigger travel. However, I would also like to mention that when the deadzone is reduced, another issue appears: the final part of the trigger travel (approximately between 60% and 100%) becomes too sensitive, making it difficult to hold high brake or throttle values consistently (for example, maintaining 70–90% without quickly jumping to 100%). This causes inconsistencies during heavy or progressive braking. For this reason, it would be ideal to have some form of compensation or additional adjustment, such as: ● a configurable response curve, ● a linearity adjustment, ● or a system that allows reducing the initial deadzone without increasing sensitivity in the final part of the trigger. This is especially important because not everyone can afford to buy an official PS5 professional controller, such as the DualSense Edge, which costs around $300, particularly in less developed countries, so an expense of this type is not a realistic option. An adjustment, patch, or improvement to the trigger deadzone and response system would greatly help players using standard controllers to compete and enjoy the game on a more equal level, without hardware being such a limiting factor.12Views0likes0CommentsActivities Timeline Auto Skipping After Each Race!
Hi I am experiencing an issue I think where in MyTeam after I complete every race weekend and return to my HQ the “Activities Time Line” starts automatically moving towards the next race and I can’t stop it, it always stops with 2 days left before the next race which basically gives you no options on the activity list to complete since most of them are 4-8 days long is this an issue or can I do something to stop it happening as it’s impacting the MyTeam experience not being able to setup activities for all the departments ? I did have a look through the settings and couldn’t find a toggle anywhere I also tried button spamming to see if it would stop it happening but still no luck, can anyone help me or share some light on this for me would be much appreciated thanks. PS I’m on Playstaion 5 just incase it helps.51Views1like3CommentsLogitech pro wheel issue on F1 25
Its been awhile since I last played and was about to start a new career mode, booted the game up with my regular wheel settings that have worked perfectly fine with no issue since the release of the game only to find that my settings were terrible. There's a weird dead zone in the middle of the wheel anytime you are just driving, the wheel is bouncing left and right aggressively. I have tried everything, lowering my settings in my logitech wheel, lowering the in game settings, no matter what I do its not fixing the issue and making it more and more unbearable. Please can we resolve this and go back pre-patcg because there was nothing wrong with the steering for the logitech pro wheels. It all felt smooth. Heck, even on f1 23 my steering settings are much smooth and more responsive then whatever this patch has now done to the game. Please fix this ASAP. Edit: Additional, just went back into the game, you can't even weave in and out like in real life F1 to warm tyres, the game just freaks out and the wheel just defaults to its dead zone to sending the car dramatically in one direction or just doing a full 360 or a drift. Please change this back so we can actually play the game on our sim setups please.645Views4likes10CommentsTGT-II issue
I have the TGT-II wheel with TCLM pedals, but when I turn the steering wheel the gas goes to about 30% and only returns to normal when I stop pressing it (this happens in all games, and I only play on PS5). I have tried all the solutions presented by Thrustmaster and even on the forums, I'm desperate because nothing works, And it's already been 3 months since the problem started.15Views0likes0CommentsSome Ideas for the Next Game 27 take some Inspiration
Hey Racers, i decided to take some Time to make a Feedback Sheet for the next F1 Games towards the Developers (looking at you EA and CM) and something to Discuss for everyone. If you all have a Idea to add in or wanna Discuss just write something down there and hopefully people from CM and EA will see specifically this discussion or Thread. Just be Respectful and dont hit anyones other idea off the stage. I think these Ideas would be good to make F1 games alive again. They could use some in depth from other Racing games too and Ideas from F1 Manager as well. I hope you guys say as much as me. CM_TGK EA_cuervo Cpayne32514Views7likes23Comments
