[MEGATHREAD] Add coop career mode on the season pack 2026

Not buying it then. I only get F1 games to play two-player career with my cousin.

I’m sorry but I’m not happy here, me and my brother have been playing f1 for 6 years on career mode and now you’ve not put it on 2026,It was bad enough that you’ve added 2026 as a update rather than a full game, why not take your time, make people wait and not rush the the game, guys this is a real disappointment to the point now, Me and my brother have both now brought gt7 and playing that so you’ve lost 2 customers plus whoever feels the same way…. We’ll don’t EA sports

mate do you think that explanation above I so good enough. Did you not see the word 1000 of hours. This need sorting. Oh we’ve put new driving models and Madrid yea and that’s what you get paid to do obviously EA have lost thousands of customers who would have purchased this game but now they won’t. 
know you are just a developer but how can you throw yo ur loyal customers under the bus. I’m embarrassed because I’ve spent 6 years probably Ind in no know how many hours in a bad day 3 hours on a good day 7 hours just practicing ready for my next race. I’ve brought GT 7 over the Christmas period to play and the game is amazing. Not only that the games that were produced 2025 only just kept us interested 

no own helmet designs, no pit lane starts in career mode, no practice starts in career mode, no black man hair style in career mode not that bothers me I’m just giving you feedback. Not only that me personally not so re how everyone else feels an D.C. I know this name is legendary but Devon Butler j could careless about these silly little add ons I just want to race a Ferrari or Haas, as me m ask e me feel like I’m a f1 driver.

First of all, I appreciate your response and the time you’ve taken to read and reply.

My point is the big announcement on social media. They’re pushing it too far. Keep it down if it is only a DLC, but every game they’ve released in the last 5–8 years has been trash (online games) lagging, bugging, **bleep** awful.

Are you playing any EA games yourself? I compared it to EA FC or UFC because it is always the same — that was my point. Big announcements and hype, and then the real game is **bleep**. Pay to win, very fast, high skill curves, and if you ask the wider community, you would get these answers.

It cannot be okay to troll your buyers.

It’s pretty much the last straw. Your point is fair, though. It may be that they explicitly announced it that way and I simply did not catch that.

I also do not want to attack you personally, because you have nothing to do with it. But I am **bleep** angry. At some point, enough is enough. It cannot be that I get trolled every year. Then I stop buying these games for two years, give them another chance, and they still mess it up.

Current examples:

FIFA / EA FC — we do not even need to talk about it. I think everyone knows that the game is absolute trash. People still play it because there is basically no real alternative. Just look at how much hype UFL got simply because people wanted a new football game that was not made by EA. Unfortunately, that hype died down because the game still needed a lot of improvements and was no longer being supported or hyped in the same way.

The new UFC is low-key the same game as last year. The character editor is awful, the animations are awful, and when someone gets knocked out or even takes a hook, it looks like Einstein made the physics — completely unrealistic. It has honestly looked better before.

And F1: I played through a career for around one and a half years in-game, only to get an error code when starting the game saying that the career was bugged and gone. I contacted support and got nothing except a “sorry.”

That is why I am so frustrated. It is not only about the missing Co-op Career mode in this DLC. It is the same pattern again and again: huge announcements and hype, then bugs, missing features, bad support, or an unfinished experience after people have already paid.

Just to be clear, I'm speaking for myself here, not on behalf of EA.

I don't think your post really takes into account what the development team has already announced.

The team is currently focused on delivering an entirely new game with F1 27. Instead of releasing a full-price yearly title for 2026, they chose to release a Season Pack DLC so they could dedicate more development resources to the next game.

That's also why the DLC costs less than half the price of a full game while still including almost all of the usual content. The only major omission is the 2-player Career mode.

While many players are understandably disappointed by its absence, it's probably one of the least-played game modes overall. The development team most likely had to decide which feature could be left out with the smallest impact on the overall player base, and this was probably the one.

So I honestly don't understand the comparison with EA FC or the criticism about monetisation in this particular case. This isn't a standard annual release sold at full price. It's a DLC designed as a transition while the team works on F1 27.

It feels like you've either missed EA's announcements about the project or you're treating this DLC as if it were a brand-new standalone game. In either case, I think you're judging it on the wrong basis.

You're obviously free to buy the 2026 Season Pack or skip it. But I find it difficult to understand the level of outrage over a DLC that delivers almost all of the usual content for less than €30/$30 simply because it doesn't include one feature.

Personally, I'd rather see the developers spend their time building a genuinely new game for 2027 than delaying that project just to include every feature in what was always intended to be a transitional DLC.

The 2-player Career mode is not planned for the 2026 Season Pack. At this point, I think it would be better to stop flooding the developers with requests about it and let them focus on F1 27. Everyone understands that some players are disappointed by this decision, but repeating the same demand over and over isn't going to change the situation.

The mode will return in F1 27. I'd much rather have the developers spend their time making that game as good as possible than trying to add one feature to what was never intended to be a full standalone release.

What the hell do you mean by “it’s not in your priorities”?

Are the wishes and concerns of your community really not important to you? What exactly is so important that you deliver one of the worst patches in the gaming history? It honestly feels like you are trolling your own community.

Nobody needs more weekly overpowered cards or endless monetisation in EA FC while core features people actually want are missing. Your game sales are already worse than they have been in years, and this is exactly why.

Patch this and add Co-op Career Mode for the 2026 Season Pack to your priorities. If money is your main priority, fine — you are a large company. But you cannot keep releasing the same sports games every year with old features removed, a new menu design, and a few cosmetic changes, then expect people to be happy.

We simply want a realistic game with proper features that let us play with our friends. Career progression, transfers, development, and shared seasons are exactly the kind of features that make people keep playing.

Not everything is bad. The music and menus are good. But when the actual game feels incomplete or lacks major modes, that is a real shame.

We are pretty much stuck with EA as a sports game publisher, apart from alternatives like eFootball, and every year it feels like you deliver less while charging the same or more.

Give your community a voice, not just the people spending the most money. Every euro I spend on FIFA, EA FC, or other EA sports games is money I wish I had spent on a publisher that actually listens to its community.

Do yourselves a favour: step up and deliver masterpieces — or at least a genuinely complete and good game.

Did you expect this level of upset and response from the players?
I can understand that it might be hard to predict in advance which features are important to the players but - now you've seen how much it means to people, does that not change anything?

Surely this functionality (which already exists in the base game) is no more than a 1-2 dev sprint to implement? If you thought it would only matter to a few people, then it might not be worth it - but give the thousands of responses and votes across platforms, doesn't this change the maths slightly?

FWIW - I haven't bought the DLC and have no plans to without this feature, I exclusively play this game in 2 player career so have no need for it without.

This question has already been answered multiple times by the Community Managers. 
There are no plans to add the 2-Player Career mode to the 2026 DLC pack later on.
Unfortunately, this game mode will not be available for this specific season.

Please let us know what exactly to expect:

will 2PC added later or 

will 2PC never be added to F126 DLC?
