F1 27 - Changes that need to be made.

First of all i’d just like to add i’m a controller player have been playing on xbox from old gen to new gen in F1 22 and have been playing the F1 games since F1 2018 on the Xbox One. And play at a competitive level since F1 22.

Qualifying should be the moment in which you should push 100% as fast as possible to set the quickest lap, since F1 23 we have not seen that. Having use battery modes to effectively save the battery for straights as now ERS is so important in qualifying when as we see in real life, this is not an affecting factor they can full push as we more especially in F1 26 having the lift off before corners in qualifying to gain ers feeling like your not even pushing all to gain more time in the straights using the battery. A lot of people would appreciate the fact having a “Qualifying Mode” in the ERS or simply you can push absolutely flat out without having to worry about the battery like we could in F1 23.

The handling model is something that needs to be talked about and i know the amount of hours, developers put it to make the game but simply it’s not good enough, i hope using this extra year that’s you’ve decided to take we i think was necessary to hopefully revive the F1 Game as it has been on a decline since F1 23 in my opinion, i hope you can get the fundamentals correct and like in F1 23 not have such a problem with controller players being competitive like it was possible from F1 23 and previous game cycles as post F1 24, wheel players have been able to take advantage of a “Flicking Method” where you could flick the wheel to essentially slow the car down be able to brake later which is not possible using a controller and just not realistic to how a real F1 car would work under braking.

Specific tracks need sorting, with bumps through corners, luck based riding curbs, i think that needs to be sorted out.

And Tire wear in races, being on a controller compared to a wheel it has been tested that controller players experience more tire wear based on the fact they have to drive, out of their control but always having more tire wear then wheel drivers it’s something that needs to be looked into again to even the playing field out because not everyone can afford a wheel to be able to be competitive.

But 100% your main focuses for F1 27 should be a redeveloped handling model that is realistic to real life, using the same fundamentals so it feels like sim racing game again, not all this flicking and controller players are left there scratching their heads. And qualifying it should be a lap that shows who is the fastest driver over 1 lap not who has the better ERS management because that’s not what F1 is. F1 23 has qualifying nailed driving flat out as fast as you could that’s what F1 is about.
