Multi-function display directly on the steering wheel screen in the game

This has been requested several times since previous games, but still nothing. Would it be possible for the MFD screen to be directly integrated into the in-game steering wheel display in cockpit view?

This would make the game even more realistic. This way, we could, like real drivers, have all the informations on the steering wheel.

For example, I did an F1 World event in which there was no on-screen display, including the MFD. It was very annoying because, since I often change my brake balance or differential, I couldn't see the settings I was making. I understand that this mode wanted to make the game realistic without the in-game displays in the corners of the screen because the drivers don't have them in real life, but the drivers have all the information contained in the MFD on their steering wheel. So why not us?

Generally speaking, I only play in cockpit view for a better immersion, and having to take my eyes off the road to look in the lower right corner of the screen isn't realistic and it's annoying. Oh, I know, you're going to tell me that we can move the MFD display to the center of the screen above the steering wheel. But i don't like that. I want it integrated into the steering wheel and to rotate with it, not just an overlay above the wheel.

Please, since players have been asking for this feature for so long, do it in a future patch. It shouldn't be very complicated to code. If not, at least think about it for the next game.

  • Also the Radio Function should be available to Pit confirm or if you break wing for example and normal information that you can't see, still there is a team in the box.

    Exactly!

While watching the Belgian GP broadcast, you might have noticed that the drivers' displays show information about the drivers ahead and behind them (who they are and what the time difference is). This would also be useful in an F1 game!

Furthermore, the steering wheel display has a main page and several subpages. When adjusting the brake balance, the current balance value is displayed across the entire screen. The same applies to other adjustable values. It would also be worthwhile to return the ERS mode display (previously, it was numerical) to the battery bar.
