Multiplayer Grand Prix - Create Session
I am unable to create or join any multiplayer sessions. I used to have crossplay disabled, but I enabled it. However, I am still unable to join or create a multiplayer session.
I have reached out to EA, and they are unable to find a solution since they didn't see that I wasn't banned before. They also said to try this:
When you see the message “ERROR, you are banned from this session” in F1 25 after trying to create a multiplayer Grand Prix session with friends, it usually means one of the following:
1. You or your friend was previously banned from a session created by the same host or using the same settings. This can happen if the host manually banned someone during a previous lobby or if the game’s anti-griefing systems flagged a user for disruptive behavior.
2. Session ownership or restrictions are causing issues. Sometimes, if a friend created the session and you were banned (even accidentally), you may not be able to rejoin unless a new session is created.
3. Glitches or bugs in the session system. Occasionally, errors can persist due to session management bugs, and restarting the game or the session may help.
What you can do:
1. Ask your friend to create a new session. If you were banned from a previous session, joining a fresh one often resolves the issue. 2. Restart your game and console/PC. This can clear temporary errors related to session management. 3. Ensure you are not using Quick Resume (on Xbox). This feature can sometimes cause connectivity and session joining issues; fully restart the game instead.
I have already tried all these steps, but no luck. I had already had a friend create a session, but I couldn't join since it showed that I was banned. Is anyone else having issues?
