multiple championships in grand prix mode

Please add the option to run multiple championship saves in grand prix mode.

Currently if I'm running a championship in grand prix mode and at some point I want to play a championship with a different driver and/or play a single race it will delete my current championship. Having the option to run multiple championship saves in grand prix mode would solve that.

Driver career isn't an option for me. I just want to drive the car, I don't want to waste my time with useless fluff like cutscenes, R&D, contracts, interviews, tutorials, etc.
