Please let us turn wet weather off

Simple as it sounds. Since the AI is so completely broken in the rain, especially on full wets but inters aren’t a lot better, PLEASE give us the option to turn dynamic weather off.

I don’t want this, I want to be able to have to deal with variable weather and the strategies that provides, but when I have to turn traction control on and still can’t come close to accelerating out of the corners like the AI does, even with a high downforce wet setup that ruins my dry quali run, it makes rain races absolutely terrible. The part I don’t understand is how you messed this up so badly this year. In past games wet weather has been tricky but at least the AI has had the same issues as the player has. This year the AI slows through the corners more than in the dry but accelerates off them like it’s dry.

    I'm hoping the reason both EA and Codemasters have gone quiet on this is because they are hard at work rectifying the absolute mess they've created with the wet weather.

    I'm flabbergasted that it was never even picked up on before being released. For a company that size and such a big game title it's massively disappointing that the game was released that way.

    It just says to me it was never tested internally at all.

    Until a fix has been worked on the game in career mode is impossible!

    I’ve taken to simming in My Team any race  and, since we cannot just sim qualifying, any qualy and race that looks lime heavy rain. The mixed conditions I take a gamble sometimes. 

    It would help if weather accuracy was better in the motorhome screen but it is often wrong for 50% races. Even race strategy weather is often wrong. It was always bad this since this year is the worst I can recall in years it bothers me even more.

    I just had another (my second) wet race in Canada (season 2 - Driver Career), and while I finished in 5th place, the four cars in front of me bolted ahead, ...uncatchable, ...and they beat me by over 40-seconds.

    The AI performance in wet conditions is broken (unrealistic).
