Portimao was a fan-favorite, why did it get removed?

It's a holding-rights thing, I believe?    It costs money to have the contracts and Portugal probably isn't likely to actually host a race again so I can see why they'd let it lapse as the cost/reward wouldn't be all that justifiable. It wasn't one that I was massively a fan of, but it's also a shame was something gets removed.    I can imagine it's even more irritating if you like something and then it's removed.

At least you get to race Zandvoort backwards now.  There is that cherry to top the cake.
