Race engineer not watching the same race…
There’s little more annoying about this game than how absolutely useless your race engineer is especially when it comes to the in race targets. I get the impression he is watching a very different race to the one I am driving.
Engineer: You know that guy that caught you 4 laps ago and has been pulling away at 1/2 second a lap? Yeah, he’s holding us up it’s critical that you go and pass him.
Driver: What race are you watching mate? He’s in a faster car on a different pit strategy and pulling a 1/2 second a lap. How is he holding me up and what wonderful speed boost have you been holding back from me all season that will let me catch him now?!?!
Come to think of it, that does sound a little bit like some real race engineers…
