Situation about "Objectives" during the race

First of all, I want to say that I think it's a cool idea. But the problem is the way it appears and the actual use of it. It's not used for anything in the development of the car or the team, and that's it. I think it boosts the driver's morale with the team, I don't know.
But the real problem with this is the way it appears. It's one thing to appear in Australia or Bahrain. It's another thing to appear in Saudi or Imola. Normally, there are three or four objectives during the races, and I was racing in Saudi, and they appeared during the first sector of the race. In this sector, you either pay attention or you're in the wall. In Imola, you either pay attention or you get a warning. I got two warnings and a 3-second time penalty. The engineer talking and the noise of the objective on the screen are distracting.
In real life, drivers ask their engineers not to talk during corners or tricky moments in the race.

  • r083rtf1 : Great info!  I never was aware of that command ...

Another thing about dynamic objectives concering target lap times: they are MUCH too easy.
For example if I do consistent lap times of between 1:22:5  and 1:23.0 the objective would ask me to do "a really fast lap" of 1.24.7
The times are always 2-3 seconds slower than what I actually already do. It would be better to use the average lap time of the last 5-10 laps and go randomly somewhere between the fastest lap and the average.

You can use the radio command [engineer repeats]. I do this when he speaks at an inconvenient time for me. Then you can listen (read) the dynamic target again at a convenient place (on the straight).
