So many complaints from pad players

I'm a pad player myself and can't really say that I've slowed down in the transition from 24 to 25, unlike wheel players.

Of course, it takes a certain amount of time to get used to the change, but it comes with time.

I hope they don't mess with the handling, because that ruined a lot of previous games. I really like the handling, and in my opinion, it made F1 25 better than its predecessors.

What are your experiences?

  • My opinion is, if you (as a full-time pad player, like me) jumped from F1 2020-22 straight to F1 25, you'll feel the same dramatic improvements as F1 23, which is something I couldn't really ask much more for.

The level of consistency and control at high speed S turns I could achieve in F1 25 are something I could never dreamt of from any titles before 23.

The thing is, you can never expect pad and wheel to be completely balanced without detrimenting the depth and quality of one side to improve the other, there's always going to be sacrifices and it's a fine balance - which I feel F1 23 & 25 had already done a really decent job, and should not be meddle too much...just look at that mess of a handling physics of F1 24.

  • What is the definition of "pro player" ? :D

Those who can compete in psgl/wor top tier leagues.

  • Agreed the handling on the pad is great. I also hope they don't mess it up like they did last year with a patch that absolutely destroyed it. I hope lessons have been learned from 24 which was an utterly miserable experience for pad players.

They have made the pad more benign this year which suits the high majority of pad players out there.

    Leave it as it is!

Im playin since 21 and i think im not so slow in general

They already did. Maybe for casual players the changes are negligible but for pro players the pad has become much worse then before. You simply can’t reach the level of wheel users for some reason. I can’t remember how say 22 was exactly but 23 was the first game that allowed people steering on pads almost like on wheel.
