Steering Wheel Display Request

Hello Developers!

I have a small feature request I was hoping to bring to your attention.  I primarily play F1 25 in VR, and I would love it if the display on the in game car wheel could be modified to include some additional information.  I prefer to play with minimal OSD for immersion/authenticity of experience, however there are several things that are basically impossible to determine without using OSD.  I would like to see the following added to the in game car wheel display to make it easier to turn off OSD -

1.) Some indication of what mode your ERS is in. Right now we get Overtake On/Off, but there's no indicator for wether you're in None, Medium or Hotlap (maybe something as simple as changing the ERS bar color?).  Would be great if we could get this info added

2.)  Brake Bias and Diff %s - Less important in my opinion but would also love if those numbers could be added somewhere to the wheel display so you can know what the current setting is without using OSD.

Thank you so much for all the hard work on the game, I'm loving it!

Agree -  the on screen wheel display area is seriously underused and has room for additional data, not just for VR users but anyone who likes the cockpit view and doesn’t want to open the MFD all the time

  • I would also add an icon to show when you're in DRS and when you activate it or need to activate it.

Also, the throttle and brake levers.

    something like this

  • It could be done like in ACC (Assetto Corsa Competizione), where you can scroll through 3–4 different dashboard layouts on the steering wheel, each showing different information. For example, there’s a layout for qualifying that prominently displays the lap time. For F1, you could imagine a race layout displaying the delta to the car ahead and behind, along with the ERS mode, and so on. For F1 VR, that would be revolutionary.

You can already see whether DRS is active or not from the wheel! The last two purple LEDs on the rev counter on the steering wheel indicate this:

one purple LED on → DRS available

two purple LEDs on → DRS activated

    Hope this helps :)
