We need a game

It seems like they've given up on the game. Where are the answers? We won't see a fix for the AI issues. And where's the performance update?

We consumers deserve respect and a response. Or have you already given up and moved on to 2026?

  • I've given up I know that much. F123 is still miles ahead in terms of enjoyment, handling especially and AI.

I've absolutely no idea what they're doing to fall so far backwards. It's extremely poor.

All they needed to do for F124 and F125 was to use the handling model from F123 and just increase the downforce levels to simulate the performance gains from each team each season. Add the LIDAR tracks, improved graphics and a few new touches and that would be perfect.

Why they have to bring out a new handling model every year within the same regulations is ridiculous. Probably to sell it as a new feature in an attempt to try and boost sales. Unfortunately it's gone that far backwards people are getting fed up.

There are still gargantuan issues that plague the game and haven't been fixed.

    AI wet weather

Players car rear traction wet weather

Horrendous tyre wear on a pad

To release the game in this state is completely unacceptable! Zero enjoyment to play.

I always wonder when they update handling who it is they listen to. I had heard at one point Verstappen gave some input and if true we know his style is different than other drivers. We know the serious E-Sports drivers want a very different handling model than most of us.

And since the game goes to Beta so late in its cycle any feed back on handling is going to be too late to be included at launch.

I agree if the regs do not change the handling should be refined and the focus on fixing the other things that are wrong with the game. I mean seriously you cannot figure out a way of giving a turn off weather feature for career modes? Surely a toggle as you start your career that puts all the weather files to sun with no chance of rain could be added even if it could not later be turned off without starting new career.

  • The handling in F125 is a moderate improvement over F124 which was beyond abysmal at best. But it's still nowhere near great as was F123 and F121.

This utterly horrendous flicking into the corners still exists and is more representative of Mario kart than F1. The front end is still awful in F125 compared to F123.

There was a fairground ride at Blackpool pleasure beach many years ago called the wild mouse. I think they've based the handling on that to be honest.

totaly agree, i used to like the wet weather racing but now its just pathetic, wheres the spray gone? , why does the rain look so stupid and nothing like rain? . they seem to have gone overboard with wet sessions so they must be proud of thier new effort, ive had six races this season, with 3 wet races, 7 wet practice/qualiy sessions, its crazy. i play on ps5 by the way, im not sure if its the same on pc version tho ? . just give us an option to turn the damm rain off and have done with it, we can choose dynamic or perfect so rain off option really cant be that difficult to add can it ????. ive played all the series since 2010 all on ps, its seems to have gone steadily down hill since around 2015 to me, with the odd improvement here and there but they have been outwhieghed by the **bleep** ups .

oldmantis45 I haven’t seen it myself but on another post on here I said a similar thing about switching wet weather off and apparently they are unable to put that option in the game.
