Hoping the improvements to my team provide more of that leaders feel rather.
With control of both the myteam drivers, maybe we could see a 2 player myteam but that's just a hope. - Tactigoose5 months agoRising Novice
Honestly, I don't know what to expect I hope for some in-depth tuning for the cars, and some good MyTeams.
Weather seems to be a big push for these games.
Maybe better AI - grahambalding5 months agoSeasoned Newcomer
The game needs to be better integrated with the real F1 season. News, highlights, interviews...online challenges that mirror actual situations from real races...ie. 'As Lando, finish the last 5 laps of the race no lower than 2nd place, with failing brakes and Verstappen on your heels'.
And there needs to be more to do off the track in career mode. Drive to Survive has opened everyone eyes to the fact that so much happens off the track. Geez...make a mode where you can cycle/walk around the track on the Thursday...let people explore the game.
There's so much they can add, but we'll get the same 3x styles of sneakers in 3x different colours that no one cares about.

I've exclusively played the game for league racing since about 2018 and barely touched the single player modes that I used to really enjoy from 2010-2017 because they've been a bit boring and repetitive with little incentive, so I'm hoping for some improvements t the on-track racing experience. Features like letting lapped cars pass the Safety Car. A better weather radar system. A more interactive race engineer that provides real time information that's useful, and not just firing off lines of encouragement or telling you your tyre pressure sensors have failed 3 times a race.
I'm hoping the inclusion of F3 icons means that we'll have F3 cars added, and that we'll have this at launch and not have to wait 5 months like we do for the F2 content update. As a big fan of the lower formulas, the one thing that could tempt me back into playing a career mode is to start off in F3 as a rookie and work my way up. Having a new car would be a welcome addition, as well as the 30 new young drivers and the possibility to create and manage a Driver Academy for your My Team 2.0.....
I just hope it's not a copy and paste job with some reverse tracks. The pre-order content being identical to last year hasn't been the best impression so far, so fingers crossed they've kept a few new secrets for the deep dive reveals

I'd like to see some lovely, smooth graphics in the VR version. To me, VR is a total game changer, a step closer to the real thing. With the ceiling fan blowing, it really feels like you are there! Pity I havent got a rumble platform or tilt platform though 😒

The problem with classic cars and tracks is licensing issues so i don’t see it happening

The things I wanted the most is the classic cars, and even better, classic tracks. This is what LOTS of players want. Apart from that, improvements to the career mode, and a revamp of the graphics with next gen only. That's pretty much all it needs to be back as a great game.

I’ve been saying for years adding an unlapping system like irl like when I play F1 2020 do a 100% race and then half the field are trapped a lap down after a safety car and it causes a mess on the restart

I think that if the sensitivity is changed and we return more to a model like F1 23 it would be nice. The My Team mode looks really great.
And finally a graphic improvement would be welcome.
