Yeah, I wonder if it's a glitch like the "Boost" glitch (rubber-banding) in GT7. If you select Boost to OFF in GT7, it is actually ON. When you select Boost to "Weak" it is almost OFF.
In F1-25 I too have set the Safety Car preference to increase, and after 14-Grand Prix in Season 1, in Driver Career, (Full Distance), I finally got my first Safety Car last night 🎉
I'm going to change my Safety Car preference to "reduced" in my Driver Career and see if the Safety Car starts to appear more often (be more realistic).
Did that work for you? I’m thinking of trying the same thing. ChatGPT is also telling me that restarting session a few seconds after lights out for the formation lap can reset the games incident logic leading to more safety cars. Could be worth trying
