Why is the tech level high but slow?
I enjoy a lot of invitation events. I have a tech level of 800, but it's a lot slower than other players who have a tech level of 300. Do I have to match the options for each part?

The main thing that decides your car speed is the car upgrades (power unit and gearbox give you straightline speed, aero and brakes give you better cornering ability) your team members don't matter in terms of car performance. In F1 25 the developers kinda nerfed the higher level F1 world cars. The difference between a lvl 100 F1 world car and a 1000, is maybe only a half second on average per lap on most tracks, on previous games it was more like 2 seconds. If you are slower than people who are lvl 300 it's just a skill issue, learn to drive faster, if you really are lvl 800+ you should be faster (but not by much).
