@Julianoren9 This is how it is in real F1 this year. There has been a change to the rules regarding the tyre blanket temps. So tyres are a lot colder when changed.

@ajobling1983 Tyres actually do generally warm up after a lap or so of running. If the pace is still slow after that there's something else going on.

Look at the second picture he attached. One slow lap after tyre change then back upto speed. Not sure what your referring to ‘something else going on’

@capitãozachevil That's right. It even heats up on the canvas, but on the track it's horrible to drive, it can be 7 laps after the pit, when it looks like the tire is still cold.
