It’s so incredibly disappointing that this is still not resolved? It’s been going on now for way to long and is seriously impacting the integrity of any two player career games.Can anyone from EA please confirm that this tyre bug will at least not happen in the next game? And a solution has been found? With 6 sprint races in 2023 the same tyre bug problem would be a calamity.

@PCCarioca they wont fix it I think. We are too close to the new game and there are lot of couches, lamps and carpets that they need to add to it so they can add Vegas and this seasons F2 in November... The standarts really dropped for the game this year and its such a shame. Only solution I have is to just scrap sprint race weekends from the calendar. We tried both selecting the harder tyre allocation with extra hards and it did not work.

@Adamg1110 Erm. Ok so I believe a fix for this was in the last patch. But it appears to have not worked as intended. Link below is Tiametmarduk latest co-op video. It now appears the Ai suffer the same issue😞 I’ve asked if it can be looked into again. in the mean time the only workarounds I can think off. Is either skip sprint races as mentioned before or the human player who doesn’t have the problem adopt the same 4 soft strategy. So everyone humans and ai alike do a 3-4 stop race: Not ideal but on the bright side there’s potential for some fun racing with so many pit stops. 🙄😇 Also maybe a idea to select softer tyre selection so you have less worn softs come race dayhttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=v5p_8unx-HM

I have the same issue!
I’ve tried to start the Race on slims and in the favoured round manually select mediums to change, but the game still puts up slims, like in the strategy….why?
And because I will be disqualified for not changing to another compound, I come in for the second time, when finally they willing to put up mediums…:D

Yes, me and my mate played the game in 2 player coop career (PS5, concretely the French GP) immediately after the patch, when this bug occured for me for the second time!

@jenny_a_m Hello,
I can confirm this bug has been there before 1.16. It happened yesterday before and today after the patch. I play on PC, and my friend ps4 on co-op. It also happens on France and Abu Dhabi. When changing strategy, the error comes up as per the SS above. It may have happened on Naetherlands too. Hope you guys can fix it soon. Thanks.

Hello, unfortunatelly the glitch is still in the game even after the patch. We tried to run our coop race today and my friend still has this bugged strategies. Like no stop and pit in lap -2 or stint without any tyres. We started the race by me pressing the start and after the countdown the race started despite him unable to start it manually becuase "he didnt select the mandatory tyre". The AI then started to go to pits in lap 4 for new softs then 3 laps later again. We run 25% race in Canada so there is really no point for all cars to change to new softs every 3 laps... (the damage is off). I really really hope you guys can fix this asap because me and my friend bought this game for over 70 euros just to play coop. I as a coop host dont have this bugged strategies and disqaulification threat at the end of the race just my friend and AI.

Sounds like an issue with the coop career when playing via PS4/PS5, and crossplay PC-PS4/5. I only play career on Steam, never had the issue. I also know other content creators never had this issue on PC either like Ben Daly and Alex Gillon.

I'm also receiving this issue on PC (Steam). It seems after a Sprint Weekend, the following race (in my case Spain) has this.

@perkins03 That is weird, because I never had that. I'm playing Season 3 soon, and it has all of the scheduled sprint races from IRL. So I'll keep an eye on it myself. At least just now at Abu Dhabi, after the patch, no issues. But I'm solo career, not co-op, so perhaps that issue is one that appears for some co-op players.
