So how is everyone finding it so far? I’ve probably had to drop the difficulty by 10-15 compared to what I had on F1 21? Has anyone managed to keep up with their old difficulty or has everyone had to drop? I’m 3-4 seconds of the pace on my old one? (90 FYI) I’m now around the 80 mark.
Same here. I’ve been doing race and qualifying practice programs over and over. At Bahrain: Trying every default setup and loads off custom ones. Tried just aboutv very camera angle and FFB and calibration setting. But to no avail as I i seem to only have the options off being slow out off the corners or lighting up the rears and losing the back end out off the corners.
@mariohomoh It’s about 20-30 this year. I’d be ok But my muscle memory is hardwired to 21😂

I used to do 83 on F1 2021 without assists. But my I cant even follow my teammate on 80 now. I was getting frustrated lol.
So it is realistic to even go to 73 then? Wow.
Same here which makes me wonder when do they get to a maximum difficulty that can't be beaten?
Considering I used to race on max/110 difficulty in 2015-2018 era both on controller and wheel, I'm almost too embarrassed to say that I had to put it all the way down to 70 for Saudi GP. I did skip 2019 though and also 2021 so I had to re-learn or get used to it again and I also mirrored all the buttons on my controller for 2020 because the left analogue stick was a bit broken and couldn't steer with it anymore. Now I'm on default again so that's another thing, plus I'm not using any setups yet. It should probably take 1 season or even more and some TT laps till I get back to 100 at least.

I used to play around 85 on 2021 and yesterday I've had to decrease to 70ish. I guess it's the same for everyone. It's not a bad thing though.
One thing I'm struggling with is with traction, but I guess we'll all get used to that too.

Watched Trl limitless in a few multiplayer races. And whilst everyone was lighting up their rears and flying off in every direction. He had no problems. So tried his Bahrain setup and more importantly his camera settings and I really hate saying this cause he’s not my favourite YouTuber. But I was instantly a second a lap quicker
In F1 2019-2021 I was in the 90-95 range at most tracks and with Bahrain I was always around 94-96 but I had to drop to 65 to pass the practice programs and 73 for qualifying and the race.
I dropped from 100 to 90-95, I'm fine with that for the start.
